Company-Wide Goals in Health & Safety
Zero Accidents & Zero Injuries– We’ve made this our #1 goal at Lothrop Companies. At Lothrop, we understand that accidents can happen on the job. This is why Lothrop employees and subcontractors are encouraged to report all unsafe acts, accidents, and safety related incidents upon occurrence so they can be used to educate others and prevent recurrence. Through the company’s safety communication program- “Communicate for a Safe Work Environment” (CSWE), reported events are documented, presented company-wide, and later made available to all employees, subcontractors, and customers upon request. By maintaining open lines of communication regarding past incidents, CSWE raises awareness to the risks associated with job hazards and unsafe work behavior. |
| Training
Lothrop’s extensive employee training program ensures that all employees and subcontractors practice safe work procedures that comply with or exceed standards set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Each member of the Lothrop team is thoroughly trained by the company’s expert safety staff prior to field entry and again annually throughout their career. Our Motto- “Safety 1st, 2nd AND 3rd” At Lothrop Companies, we understand the importance of occupational safety which is why we made this motto a company policy. Lothrop employees use safe work procedures during each step of progress on every construction project. |

Health & Safety Program Employee health and safety are of the utmost importance at Lothrop. For that reason, the company employs an annually updated fully OSHA compliant Health & Safety Program. Other efforts to maintain and improve overall employee health and safe work behavior include Lothrop’s Safety Incentive Program rewarding employees for safe work behavior on the job. Also, the company offers Health and Fitness Incentives that encourage employees to improve and ensure their overall well being during their employment with Lothrop.
